There are three different methods to create a concrete swimming pool: reinforced concrete blockwork, shuttered and poured reinforced concrete or sprayed reinforced concrete (also known as gunite or shotcrete).
Concrete swimming pools are often lined with a cementitious waterproof membrane or are waterproof rendered. For the finish, large format ceramic, mosaic, or porcelain tiles are applied. An alternative could include marbelite – a plaster-type applied finish.
One of the biggest advantages of concrete pools is that you can have any size, shape or depth that you like. you are not limited by the manufacturers dimensions. This is particularly desirable when you want a totally unique pool built just for you.
