Outdoor one-piece pools typically take 2–6 weeks, while indoor one-piece pools usually take 5–12 months due to building works and coordination with other contractors. Outdoor concrete pools generally take 6–12 months, with indoor concrete pools taking 8–24 months. One-piece pools are considerably quicker to install, although weather, site conditions and additional landscaping can affect timescales.

In many cases, outdoor swimming pools do not require planning permission. However, this depends on your property, location and whether the project falls within conservation areas, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, building regulations or forms part of a larger development.
