This beautiful alluring project shows the stunning design of the Aqua Technics pool, complemented perfectly by the seamless integration of an overspill spa, which sits perfectly with the Georgian architectural style of the clients’ home. In this project the customer said in their brief that they loved bright blue pools, and stipulated that it was of the utmost importance that the pool was easy to maintain. This brief was met to perfection by the specification of an Aqua-Technics Pools Royale one-piece pool and Nova spillway spa both in the attractive Twilight colour. The installation is finished in a contrasting granite copings, paving and cladding to the spa sides. Aqua Technics offer a number of benefits to make maintenance a breeze, such as anti-microbial agent called Microtech integrated in the pool’s surface, and a finish coating called PoolColourGuard which protects the finish and negates the need for expensive refurbishment during the pool’s lifetime.
This pool incorporates an Aqua Technics Spillway spa this large 8 seater spa utilises the pool filtration to create and overflowing feature into the pool. With the press of a button the spa can be used independently heating up to a comfortably 40 degrees,
Installing this pool in January generated extra work due to the high water table being on marshland. This meant we had to hire a large commercial pump to dewater the ground 24/7, including our ground water handling and submersible pump. The outcome of this was an oversized excavation where the sides collapses and were continuously having to be pilled back at a 45 degree angle.
